ECOLOGY, HEALTH, JEWERLY AND MORE NOVELTIES IN COLOMBIAMODA 2012

• Jewelry with innovation is present in Colombiamoda, thanks to Governor´s office support

July 2012. Environmentally friendly products, innovative or that provides solutions are some of the novelties in Colombiamoda 23th version. Shirts, and other elaborate garments 100% PIMA cotton, one of the best varieties in the world, produced in United States and Peru, come from Peru. According to companies Pinto, who this year participated for the first time in Colombiamoda, these garments provide greater softness, shine and strength enabling them to offer a differentiated product.

With Cupid Intimates, comes control garments as underwear and belts with softer fabrics and silicone that allows more control. This company is looking to break through in the Colombian market.

Likewise, young talent, year after year-sponsored by “cultura E”, comes with brands such as Tebanos and Eloisa Legarda. The first one is based on footwear and accessories with a classic trend, inspired by the Back to School, modernized through processed leather soled colors that give a more youthful appearance. Tebanos also are including oranges and greens with proposals that are out slightly from the traditional. Eloisa Legarda, for its part, is played with products focused on small spaces such as folding chairs, tables, tablecloths, and other elements on a picnic, made from kraft paper - recycled paper and wood residues, hand knitted by women heads of household and native wood, allowing in this way access to environmentally friendly products.
Innovation has also been present at the Tradeshow with the jewelry, supported by the Governor´s Office. Thanks to the investigative work of Mapre group of the University of Antioquia creations with gem blue, red, green, violet and Brown can be seen in gold 18, 20 and 22 carat gold obtained from chemical process.
Last, health is also present with products as compression socks by Novarix, that makes an adjustment to the ankle by the blood to circulate and help to prevent or cure varicose veins.
